kid plays at KING OF THE BLUE’S CONTEST at GUITAR CENTER Charleston SC 2009. Looses to old guys. Using a Gibson Les Paul guitar.

    the truth is, he learned this song just that day of the contest. he never practiced at all. he had no idea what he was doing. if he at least practiced maybe he would had done better.
    yeah, drew had showmanship. but still honestly, i wasn’t impressed. it was all show, no real talent. he must had practiced for months to get that rock star movement down, because his playing was marginal. i mean that.

    a bit better tone and some stage presence and I think this guy would have got some better reviews.

    besides, drew is older and runs up and down king street. every morning, yeah, he should keep running. he was okay, for a much older guy, he was average at best. this boy is a child, only 16, self taught, so screw off

    I played the week before. We only had five people show up! I havent seen any video from that day on here though. Sorry you didnt make it through. Sounded good though.

    compared to the other guitar players I think he sounds pretty good. so i’m gonna give him 5 stars.
