I was there that night. I had a great time and Ron Paul did show me that night what a candidate for President should be.

I agree but his name name still carries weight with respect to his ideology, if not the overall actions of his administration. It’s just ironic to see these Neocon types get on stage and reference Reagan while snickering at the one guy he’d most likely vote for.

Murray Rothbard is one of numerous people who have pointed out that for rhetoric Reagan was great, when it came to actions that was an entirely different story.
Under Reagan spending grew, regulations increased, and the deficit ballooned. The sad fact is even Carter was better for the economy than Reagan.

I was expecting you to mention Reagan’s comments regarding Ron Paul but great job anyway. He’d vote for paul in a heartbeat.

Ron Paul’s consistancy is amazing.He’s got it right many times it seems over the years.When the majority was wrong-he was right.God,do we need a leader with this kind of foresight.
