bit.ly Hey guys Shane Dawson, shay carl , shaytards and several other popular youtubers don’t have health insurance but i don’t see any of them speaking up to support the more affordable option that president obama is trying to pass for people just like them. Shane and Shay seem to be nice guys, the point of my video is to hopefully get them to speak up more about this, since they understand it firsthand and many people watch their videos

    It’s because of what would happen. For instance, I don’t watch the Academy Awards anymore. It has become a political platform for all the liberal actors to bash conservative politics. If you are liberal that is fine, there is a place for your opinion. But, I watch the Academy Awards to find out which movies will win, not to here liberals bash conservative politics, or tell me the war is wrong. I am educated, and I have my own opinions about the war, etc.

    You should really try reading the bills (or at least the main points of them) the Obama administration is trying to push through congress before you make blatent, misinformed statements like these.

    That goes for anyone who is genuinely concerned about the oh so terrifying “socialist” agenda that people seem convinced the United States is undergoing.

    Obama’s health plan is garbage. He will ruin the qualtiy of health care for hard working people like me that work the 9-5 and pay for health care for our families.

    Now Obama wants to leagalize all illegal immigrants that are here and give them health care….Become a citizin the right way and stop bringing down property value by hanging out at my 7-11’s and home depots. Or get out of my country that served 8 years for.

    #2 I have friends there and they say the health care government funded is shit!!
    #3 USA has enough shit
    #4 I wouldn’t have went to hospitol unless they were going to set my nose
    #5 I donot support free health care ITS going to be PULLED out of some other health plan or care or medicare.
    #6 My kids have Arkids first you know the dumbass who ran for president governor huckabee, he was shit, only thing he did for Arkansas was Arkids first. HE SUCKED as gov!!!

    onebadbana:it happened with racism, alot of young kids that listened to urban music were able to change the racist minds of some of their parents. its not impossible for the same thing to happen in politics.

    Also, we need to build a federal infrastructure to hold all of the medical records. This is a major expense that needs to be paid for by the tax payers. Over the long run it will save lives, money and will be able to be used to track trends and help us cure and understand diseases better.

    Remember though health insurance even if everyone gets it won’t solve the health problems. Americans biggest problem is our obesity, inactivity and diets. Cut those problems out and you save trillions

    The reason obama’s health insurance is bad, is it doesn’t cover the cost of the medical care provided. Only two outcomes could come, 1 worse care. 2 higher prices.

    I’m all for everyone having health insurance but a “public option” will only hurt us.

    Make a federal standard for all state’s coverages and allow people to buy insurance from any company. Then, start a real program of getting american’s to work out. Then cap liabilities. Do this and you solve it.

    There is always a downside though. There was a special on Canadian citizens leaving Canada and going to hospitals in Detroit to have life saving procedures done because they would be dead if they had to stay on the waiting list in Canada. Nothing is perfect.
    The problem with Obama’s healthcare bill was mainly that the Dems wanted to pass it without even reading it. Seems a bit risky to me.

    I own a business, if this bill passes I will close my doors and have to get rid of 30 employees. How many people do you think will do this same thing? The bottom line is that it isn’t my responsibility to pay for someone elses mistakes. Instead of healthcare deform how about we fix medicare/medicade and put people that need insurance on these programs? Social Security is bankrupt and medicare is the same way, who runs these? The Governement. And wer should trust them with our life?

    It is an idea that is being influenced by the Governement to make you feel like it is ok. I understand your feelings and I somewhat agree with you. If you look at it from the Governments standpoint yes it has been done successful, but if you look at it from the peoples standpoint it is a total failure. Who do you think has to pay for this? I don’t want the Government stealing my money to give it to someone else. Don’t people get put in jail for stealing? What makes it ok for the Gov to do it?

    surveyinthewoods:Its not my idea, America wont be the first, it has be done successfully in Canada and around the world for decades.its funny how some people would support stocking up on weapons with tax dollars to kill people but not health care to keep people healthy.     So what you are saying is that we should rob from the rich to provide for the poor? Or since a person makes a bad decision in their life all others should have to pay for that persons mistakes also? I hate to tell you DukePowell but your idea of Free Health Care is a total fraud. Just rememeber one thing in life, NOTHING IS FREE. Tax payers have to pay for this stupid bill if it passes. Government can’t even run an economy and you trust them with your life?

    THE REASON ALL OF THESE YOUTUBERS DONT SAY ANYTHING IS BECAUSE THEY’RE RICH. SHAYCARL CAN MAKE AS MUCH AS 600-800 DOLLARS PER VIDEO. NOT TO MENTION HIS SHAYCARL CHANNEL, HIS WIFES CHANNEL, HIS SHAYLOSS CHANNEL, AND THE STATION. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT THE AVERAGE STRUGGLING PERSON WITHOUT HEALTH INSURANCE. THEREFORE THEY DO NOT CARE AS MUCH AS THE AVERAGE PERSON. (ps… this is only on caps lock so people will read it hehe)
